The President of MaestroVision, Claude Turcotte, is delighted to announce the signing of a $2.35M contract for the complete modernization of the recording systems at the MJQ, the Quebec Department of Justice. This new technology will digitally record six audio tracks in each of the 517 hearing rooms in Quebec, compared to the current two track recording system. The quality of recording will be greatly improved and will facilitate the efficient extraction and replay of desired content.

THE MAESTROVISION MEDIA MANAGER AT THE HEART OF THE SYSTEM

Record management is at the heart of the technology to be installed by MaestroVision. The system ensures the availability, integrity and compliance of all recording data. A centralized redundancy back up will be established to serve all fifty eight courthouses and another thirty eight service offices throughout Quebec. This MaestroVision solution will provide a sophisticated search engine to find specific recordings using a multiple key word algorithm, as well as by file or case number. This will provide access to comprehensive statistical analysis, and allow for the removal of inactive judicial records according to a retention schedule, as provided for in the Archives Act.
