MaestroVision shall retain personal information only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes, or as required by law.

Principle 6 - Accuracy

Personal information shall be as accurate, complete and up-to-date as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is to be used.

Principle 7 - Security Safeguards

Personal information shall be protected by security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information.

Principle 8 - Openness Concerning Policies and Practices

MaestroVision shall make information available to its customers regarding its policies and practices that apply to the management of personal information.

Principle 9 - Individual Access

Upon request, a customer shall be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of his or her personal information, and shall be given access to that information. A customer shall be able to verify the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate. A customer shall also be able to request the erasure of their personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

Principle 10 - Handling Complaints and Inquiries

MaestroVision shall maintain procedures for addressing and responding to all complaints and inquiries it receives from its customers about its handling of personal information.

The following sections explain how MaestroVision fulfills the ten principles set forth above in collecting, using, maintaining and protecting your personal information. When we refer to “we” or “MaestroVision”, we mean our entire company, including any company that we own or control. We may share information with companies that we own or control, but all information we share will always be protected under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Collection of Your Personal Information

The personal information that maestrovision.com collects and uses typically includes the information we collect when you submit any of our online forms including but not limited to a “contact us” form, a newsletter subscription, a feedback form, a careers form and a “submit your project” form. The personal information collected from these forms includes information such as your name, position, e-mail address, telephone number, company name and the relevant message content.

Whether or not you provide MaestroVision with personal information is always at your discretion. The decision to withhold particular details, however, may limit the products and services we are able to provide and make it more difficult for us to advise you or suggest appropriate alternatives. If we are unable to accommodate your request, based on the information that has been provided, we may ask for additional details in order to identify other ways in which we can be of assistance. In the event of a sale of all or substantially all of the assets of MaestroVision, records containing personal information may be transferred to the purchaser without your prior consent. MaestroVision will retain your personal information for the period determined to be reasonably necessary to properly furnish its business services to you or for any longer period of time as determined by applicable law.

Social Media Plug-Ins

www.maestrovision.com may include certain social media plug-ins. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our web site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media plug-ins are either hosted by a third party. Your interactions with these plug-ins are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Security of Your Personal Information

We employ current technologies to protect the confidentiality and privacy of your information. We have implemented top-level security standards to ensure that your personal information is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, inappropriate alteration or misuse. All safety and security measures are commensurate to the sensitivity level of the information. Electronic client files are kept in a secured environment with restricted access. Paper-based files are also stored in restricted access areas.

Our server environment is tightly managed, our firewall infrastructure is strictly adhered to and our security practices are reviewed periodically to ensure they are adequate.

In the course of daily operations, we attempt to restrict access to personal information only to those authorized employees who are required to access it in order to fulfill their duties. As a condition of employment, all employees of MaestroVision are required to abide by the privacy standards we have established and to follow all applicable laws and regulations. Unauthorized access to and/or disclosure of any customer information by a MaestroVision employee is strictly prohibited. All employees are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of personal information at all times. Failure to do so will result in appropriate disciplinary measures, which may include dismissal.

Transfer of Personal Information Outside of Canada

Our head office is located in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Our server is also located in the province of Québec, Canada. In some cases, personal information that we manage may be processed in Canada and may be disclosed, processed and/or stored outside of Canada (namely, in the United States of America and/or Mexico), and therefore may be available to government authorities under lawful orders and laws applicable there. Your Rights

As a customer, you have the right to access, verify and update the information held in your personal file(s).
